I find it funny that the Tea Party states that they will not get involve in the debt ceiling or taxation discussions. But they do love to give out suggestions.

I agree with you first idea (tax the rich) and would expand it. Tax everyone. We need to revamp the tax system to make it flater and simpler, and no one gets a free ride by not paying taxes. When people pay taxes they take more of an intrest in how the money is spent.

There should be a fair matrix that gives people equal taxes according to their generated income, giving no special tax cuts to these "job creators."
